→ For Sauce

13 - 1/2 can pasta sauce
14 - 1/4 teaspoon basil
15 - 1/4 teaspoon oregano
16 - 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
17 - Pinch dried mint
18 - Salt and pepper to taste

# Instructions:

01 - Tear bread into tiny pieces in a large mixing bowl. Add all meatball ingredients except olive oil. Mix thoroughly with hands until well combined.
02 - Spoon 2-3 tablespoons of the meat mixture and roll into balls. Set aside on a cutting board or plate.
03 - Heat a large sauté pan over medium heat and add olive oil. Brown meatballs in batches on all sides. Remove them to a clean plate.
04 - In the same pan, add pasta sauce and herbs. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer.
05 - Return meatballs to the sauce and spoon sauce over each. Cover and cook for 5 minutes, then flip the meatballs and cook for another 5 minutes.
06 - Serve hot over pasta or risotto.

# Notes:

01 - Best if the meat mixture refrigerates overnight.
02 - Only brown the outsides of the meatballs initially; they will finish cooking in the sauce.
03 - Can be served with pasta or risotto.
