Wedding Mints (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - ½ cup unsalted butter, softened.
02 - 4 cups powdered sugar.
03 - ¼ teaspoon peppermint extract.
04 - ⅛ teaspoon vanilla extract.
05 - ⅛ teaspoon salt.
06 - 1½ tablespoons heavy cream.
07 - Food coloring (optional).

# Instructions:

01 - Beat softened butter in stand mixer or with electric mixer until creamy.
02 - Gradually mix in 2 cups powdered sugar on low speed until combined.
03 - Mix in extracts and salt until well combined.
04 - Add heavy cream and mix, increasing to medium speed.
05 - Mix in remaining powdered sugar until playdough consistency. Add coloring if desired.
06 - Roll into ½-inch logs, cut into small pieces. Place on wax paper-lined sheet.
07 - Let dry uncovered at room temperature several hours until firm.

# Notes:

01 - Keeps 2 weeks at room temperature.
02 - Keeps 1 month refrigerated.
