Cinnamon Swirl Donut Bread (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Bread Base

01 - 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
02 - 3/4 cup granulated sugar
03 - 1/2 cup buttermilk
04 - 1/4 cup canola oil
05 - 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
06 - 2 large eggs
07 - 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
08 - 1 teaspoon baking powder
09 - 1/2 teaspoon salt

→ Cinnamon Swirl

10 - 2 tablespoons brown sugar
11 - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
12 - 1/2 teaspoon molasses

→ Topping

13 - 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
14 - 1/4 cup granulated sugar
15 - 1/4 cup brown sugar
16 - 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan. Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt in medium bowl.
02 - Cream canola oil, softened butter, and sugar until fluffy (3-4 minutes). Beat in eggs one at a time, then vanilla. Gradually add dry ingredients alternating with buttermilk, beginning and ending with dry ingredients.
03 - Transfer 3/4 cup batter to separate bowl. Add brown sugar, cinnamon, and molasses; mix well.
04 - Pour half plain batter in pan. Drop half cinnamon mixture in dollops and swirl. Repeat with remaining batters.
05 - Bake 45-50 minutes until toothpick comes out mostly clean. Cool 10 minutes in pan.
06 - Melt butter in shallow dish. Mix sugars and cinnamon in another dish. Dip cooled bread in butter, then sugar mixture. Cool completely before slicing.
