Cinnamon Donut Bread (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Dry Ingredients

01 - 2 cups all-purpose flour
02 - 1/2 cup granulated sugar
03 - 1 tablespoon baking powder
04 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
05 - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

→ Wet Ingredients

06 - 1 cup milk
07 - 2 large eggs
08 - 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
09 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

→ Topping

10 - 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
11 - 1/2 cup granulated sugar
12 - 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line with parchment paper for easy removal.
02 - In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, salt, and ground cinnamon until fully combined.
03 - In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth and well mixed.
04 - Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; the batter will be thick.
05 - Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
06 - While the bread is baking, melt the butter for topping in a small bowl. In a separate bowl, mix together the sugar and cinnamon for the topping.
07 - Once baked, remove from oven and cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Remove the bread from the pan, brush the top with melted butter, then immediately sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture generously over the top and sides if desired.
08 - Allow the bread to cool slightly before slicing. Serve warm or at room temperature.

# Notes:

01 - This bread has the flavor profile of cinnamon donuts but in an easy-to-make loaf form.
