Churro Caramel Crunch Cupcakes (Print Version)

Cinnamon cupcakes filled with caramel, topped with frosting and crunchy cereal. Sweet, gooey, and crispy in every bite.

# Ingredients:

→ Cupcakes

01 - 1½ cups flour
02 - 1 tsp cinnamon
03 - 1½ tsp baking powder
04 - ½ cup butter
05 - ¾ cup brown sugar
06 - 2 eggs
07 - ½ cup milk
08 - 1 tsp vanilla

→ Filling

09 - ½ cup thick caramel sauce

→ Frosting

10 - ½ cup butter
11 - 1½ cups powdered sugar
12 - ¼ cup caramel sauce
13 - 1 tsp cinnamon

→ Crunch

14 - 1 cup crushed cinnamon sugar cereal (like Cinnamon Toast Crunch)
15 - Optional: pinch of sea salt

# Instructions:

01 - Prepare cinnamon cupcakes by mixing the dry ingredients, creaming the butter and sugar, and combining with wet ingredients. Bake until fluffy and golden, then cool completely.
02 - Using a small knife or corer, remove the centers of the cupcakes and fill with caramel sauce.
03 - Pipe a swirl of caramel-cinnamon frosting on top of each cupcake and press the crushed cereal around the base or on the frosting.
04 - Drizzle with additional caramel sauce before serving, if desired.
