Fun Christmas Ornament Cocktail (Print version)

A fizzy cranberry cherry holiday cocktail served in clear ornaments with rosemary and cranberries for a playful party pour.

# Ingredients:

For the cocktail base

01 - 4 cups (960 ml) chilled cranberry juice cocktail

02 - 3/4 cup (180 ml) grenadine

03 - 1 cup (240 ml) chilled vodka, white rum, or gin, optional

04 - 4 cups (1 liter) chilled Cherry 7UP or cherry lemon-lime soda

For serving

05 - 8 food-safe clear fillable drink ornaments, 4-6 oz each

06 - 2 cups ice cubes, or as needed

07 - 1 cup fresh cranberries

08 - 8 small rosemary sprigs

# Instructions:

01 - Chill the cranberry juice, grenadine, vodka, and soda for at least 2 hours. Wash and dry the food-safe drink ornaments before filling.

02 - In a large pitcher, stir together the cranberry juice, grenadine, and vodka until evenly combined.

03 - Pour in the cherry lemon-lime soda just before serving. Stir gently once or twice to keep the bubbles lively.

04 - Remove the ornament caps. Use a small funnel to fill each ornament about three-quarters full, then cap tightly and keep upright.

05 - Fill glasses with ice, cranberries, and rosemary. Place one filled ornament in each glass and let guests uncap and pour the cocktail over the ice.

# Good to know:

01 - Best served immediately after the soda is added.

02 - For a mocktail, omit the vodka and add 1 extra cup of soda or white cranberry juice.
