03 - 1/2 cup (100 g) granulated sugar
04 - 2 large eggs, room temperature
05 - 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
06 - 2 3/4 cups (330 g) all-purpose flour
07 - 1 tablespoon cornstarch
08 - 1 teaspoon baking soda
09 - 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
10 - 3/4 teaspoon kosher salt

For the mix-ins

11 - 3/4 cup (150 g) red and green M&Ms, plus more for topping
12 - 1/2 cup (85 g) semisweet chocolate chips
13 - 1/2 cup (85 g) white chocolate chips
14 - 1/2 cup (25 g) mini pretzels, roughly broken
15 - 1/2 cup (20 g) ridged potato chips, lightly crushed
16 - 1/3 cup (55 g) toffee bits
17 - 2 tablespoons holiday sprinkles
18 - Flaky sea salt, for finishing

# Instructions:

01 - Beat the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar in a large bowl for 2-3 minutes, until lighter and fluffy.
02 - Mix in the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add the vanilla and scrape down the sides of the bowl.
03 - In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cornstarch, baking soda, baking powder, and kosher salt.
04 - Add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture and mix on low just until combined. Do not overmix once the flour disappears.
05 - Use a spatula to fold in the M&Ms, chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, pretzels, potato chips, toffee bits, and sprinkles. Reserve a few colorful pieces for topping if desired.
06 - Scoop the dough into 2-tablespoon balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Press extra mix-ins on top, then chill for at least 45 minutes.
07 - Heat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Arrange chilled dough balls 2 inches apart on lined baking sheets and bake for 10-12 minutes, until edges are set and centers still look soft.
08 - Sprinkle warm cookies lightly with flaky sea salt. Cool on the baking sheet for 10 minutes, then transfer to a rack to cool completely.
