01 -
Crank up your oven to 400°F (200°C) and let it heat up while you get started.
02 -
Grab a meat mallet and gently pound out your chicken breasts so they’re all about the same thickness. This’ll help them cook evenly.
03 -
Line up three shallow dishes. Start with flour in the first, crack and beat your eggs into the second, then stir together breadcrumbs, Parmesan, basil, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in the third.
04 -
Drag each piece of chicken through the flour. Tap off the extra, dunk it in the eggs, then cover it with the breadcrumb mix. Make sure it’s coated all over.
05 -
Pour the olive oil in a big skillet and warm it up over medium-high heat. Lay the breaded chicken in and let it sizzle until both sides look golden, usually about 2 to 3 minutes per side.
06 -
Move the chicken into a baking dish. Scoop marinara over each one, then sprinkle them with lots of shredded mozzarella.
07 -
Slide the dish into your hot oven. Let the chicken bake for around 10 to 15 minutes, just until the cheese is melted and bubbly on top.
08 -
Dish up the chicken with extra marinara for dipping if you want, then dig in.
