Set air fryer to 190°C and allow to preheat while preparing the filling.

In a large bowl, thoroughly mix shredded chicken, Alfredo sauce, mozzarella cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.

On a lightly floured surface, roll out pizza dough into a rectangle approximately 6 millimeters thick. Divide into 4 equal squares.

Spoon roughly 80 milliliters of the chicken Alfredo mixture into the center of each dough square.

Fold dough over the filling to form pockets and firmly seal the edges, crimping with a fork if preferred.

Brush the tops with olive oil. Beat the egg and lightly brush over each calzone for a golden finish.

Place calzones in the air fryer basket, leaving space between each. Cook for 10 to 12 minutes until golden brown and the dough is cooked through.

Remove calzones and let rest for 1 minute before serving.
