Cherry Rum Coke Slushie (Print Version)

Chilled rum, cherry liqueur, and cola blended smooth then crowned with sweet garnishes for a soda shop twist.

# Ingredients:

→ Main

01 - 120 ml white or dark rum
02 - 60 ml cherry liqueur
03 - 2 cans (355 ml each) Coca-Cola, well chilled
04 - 480 ml ice cubes

→ Garnishes

05 - Whipped cream, for topping (optional)
06 - Maraschino cherries, for garnish (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Ensure both cans of Coca-Cola are thoroughly chilled prior to preparation to maintain optimal slushie texture.
02 - In a high-speed blender, add rum, cherry liqueur, 480 ml ice cubes, and one can (355 ml) of chilled Coca-Cola.
03 - Blend the mixture on high until it reaches a smooth, frozen consistency. For a stronger cola flavor, blend in half or all of the second can as desired.
04 - Modify the balance by adding additional ice for a thicker texture or more Coca-Cola for a sweeter, lighter result.
05 - Pour the slushie into chilled glasses. Finish each serving with a generous swirl of whipped cream and one or two maraschino cherries.
06 - Drizzle extra cherry liqueur over the whipped cream for added flavor and vibrant color, if desired.
