01 - 450 grams Italian sausage
02 - 700 milliliters marinara sauce
03 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
04 - 1/2 yellow onion, diced
05 - 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
06 - 1 teaspoon onion powder
07 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
08 - Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
09 - 200 grams shredded mozzarella cheese
10 - 65 grams chopped bacon
11 - Pepperoni slices, as desired
12 - 710 grams frozen cheese ravioli

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 175°C. Dice the onion and chop the bacon if not pre-chopped.
02 - Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add diced onion and sauté for 3-4 minutes until translucent.
03 - Add Italian sausage to the skillet. Cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned throughout. Drain excess grease if necessary.
04 - Stir in Italian seasoning, onion powder, garlic powder, and black pepper. Pour in marinara sauce. Add chopped bacon and desired pepperoni slices. Mix to combine.
05 - Stir the frozen cheese ravioli into the skillet mixture until evenly coated.
06 - Transfer the mixture into a large baking dish. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the top. Add extra bacon or pepperoni if preferred.
07 - Cover the baking dish with foil. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbling.
08 - Remove the foil and place under the broiler for 2 to 3 minutes, until the topping is golden and crisp.
09 - Allow to cool slightly before serving. Present warm for optimal taste and texture.

01 - If assembling ahead, cover and refrigerate unbaked; add 10 minutes to the baking time if starting cold.
