Set the oven temperature to 190°C, or as indicated on the dough packaging, and allow it to fully preheat.

For pizza dough, place on a lightly floured surface and roll into a rectangular shape. For crescent roll dough, separate into pre-cut triangles.

Distribute mozzarella evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges. Arrange pepperoni slices atop the cheese, and optionally sprinkle with Italian seasoning or garlic powder.

Roll pizza dough tightly from one edge into a log; for crescent dough, roll each triangle from wide to narrow end, sealing the sides.

Slice the pizza dough log into 2.5 cm pieces and arrange on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Place crescent roll-ups directly onto the prepared sheet.

Transfer to oven and bake for 12–15 minutes, or until golden brown and crisp.

Serve warm with pizza sauce for dipping.
