# Ingredients:

For the bites

01 - 12 oz (340 g) smoked cocktail sausages, cut into 2-inch pieces
02 - 1 can (8 oz / 225 g) refrigerated crescent roll dough
03 - 4 oz (115 g) cheddar or mozzarella cheese, cut into thin batons
04 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
05 - 1 teaspoon everything bagel seasoning or sesame seeds (optional)

02 - Slice the cheese block into thin batons that match the length of the sausage pieces.
03 - Place one sausage piece and one cheese baton at the end of a dough strip. Roll tightly and place seam-down on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
04 - Brush the tops with melted butter and sprinkle with everything bagel seasoning or sesame seeds if desired.
05 - Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 12-15 minutes until deeply golden and puffed. Cool for 2 minutes before serving.

# Good to know:

01 - Serve warm while the cheese is still molten.
02 - Best eaten the day they are baked, though leftovers reheat well.
