Preheat your oven to 400°F and lightly grease a large baking sheet.

Take one sheet of crescent dough and press the seams together to create a single, even sheet.

Sprinkle shredded cheese over the dough. Place one sausage along the edge of the dough (you can slice the sausage in half if it has a curve). Roll the dough tightly around the sausage and pinch the edges to seal.

Repeat the process with the second sheet, but this time spread cream cheese over half of the dough instead of shredded cheese.

Cut the rolled dough into ¾ inch slices and arrange them on the baking sheet.

In a small bowl, whisk together the glaze ingredients and brush the mixture over the rolls. Sprinkle with poppy seeds.

Bake for 15-18 minutes, until the dough is golden and crispy.

Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces, like ketchup or mustard.
