Cheesy Garlic Green Beans (Print Version)

Green beans packed with garlicky flavor and topped with super gooey mozzarella. An easy side that everyone loves.

# Ingredients:

01 - Ends trimmed off 1 pound (about 500 g) fresh green beans
02 - 1 and 1/4 cups mozzarella, shredded
03 - 1/4 cup olive oil
04 - 2 tablespoons shredded fresh parmesan
05 - 4 garlic cloves, chopped up (or 1 tablespoon pre-minced garlic)
06 - 3/4 teaspoon Kosher salt
07 - 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

# Instructions:

01 - Set your oven to 425°F (220°C). Spray a baking sheet with nonstick oil so food doesn’t stick later.
02 - Spread your green beans out flat on the greased baking sheet. Space them apart so they cook evenly.
03 - Mix together your olive oil, parmesan, garlic, salt, and pepper in a small bowl. Stir until everything’s mixed up nicely.
04 - Pour the oil mix over your green beans. Throw on some gloves or grab a spatula to toss them around so each bean gets covered.
05 - Slide the pan into your oven. Bake for about 20 minutes until your beans are bright and still a bit crisp.
06 - Once those beans are done baking, sprinkle the shredded mozzarella all across the top.
07 - Pop the beans back under the broiler and let 'em go another 4 or 5 minutes until the cheese is melty and golden on top.
08 - Move your Cheesy Garlic Green Beans over to a plate and enjoy while they're hot and gooey.
