Cheesy Garlic Butter Rollups (Print Version)

Toasty bread filled with melty cheeses, brushed in garlic butter, and baked until golden for a savory snack.

# Ingredients:

→ For the Rollups

01 - 8 slices white or whole wheat sandwich bread, crusts removed
02 - 120 grams shredded mozzarella cheese
03 - 60 grams shredded cheddar cheese
04 - 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

→ For the Garlic Butter

05 - 60 grams unsalted butter, melted
06 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
07 - 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
08 - 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley or 1 teaspoon dried parsley
09 - 0.25 teaspoon salt

→ Optional Dipping Sauces

10 - Marinara sauce
11 - Garlic herb sauce
12 - Ranch dressing
13 - Spicy ketchup

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat and set aside.
02 - Using a rolling pin, gently press each bread slice until uniformly thin. This helps seal and crisp the rollups.
03 - Distribute mozzarella and cheddar cheese evenly along the lower third of each bread slice. Roll tightly from the cheese side upward to create a log. Seal the edge with a small amount of melted butter if necessary.
04 - In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, garlic powder, parsley, and salt thoroughly to blend flavors.
05 - Place rollups seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Generously brush each with garlic butter mixture.
06 - Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown and crisp. For air fryer preparation, cook at 180°C (360°F) for 8–10 minutes, turning halfway through.
07 - Allow rollups to cool briefly, then serve warm with preferred dipping sauces.

# Notes:

01 - Flattening the bread is essential for achieving a crisp, uniform texture and preventing the rollups from unrolling during baking.
