Cheesy Cauliflower Steaks (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 medium cauliflower heads.
02 - 1 tablespoon vegetable oil.
03 - 1 teaspoon fine sea salt.
04 - 1/2 teaspoon pepper.
05 - 2 teaspoons onion powder.
06 - 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese.
07 - 1/2 cup grated gruyere or cheddar cheese.
08 - Fresh chives, chopped.

# Instructions:

01 - Heat oven to 400°F/200°C. Line large baking sheet with paper.
02 - Slice cauliflower into 6 steaks, about 3/4 inch thick.
03 - Scatter parmesan on baking sheet, place cauliflower on top.
04 - Mix oil, salt, pepper and onion powder. Brush over cauliflower.
05 - Bake 20 minutes until tender.
06 - Top with gruyere, bake 10-15 minutes until bubbly.
07 - Sprinkle with chives and serve.

# Notes:

01 - Use two cauliflowers for best steaks.
02 - Save leftover florets for other dishes.
03 - Choose firm cauliflower heads.
