Golden pork chops baked with cheddar, ranch seasoning, and crispy breadcrumbs for a savory meal.

# Ingredients:

→ Main components

01 - 4 pork chops, bone-in or boneless
02 - 1 cup (100 g) shredded cheddar-style cheese
03 - 1 cup (60 g) plain or seasoned breadcrumbs
04 - 2 tablespoons ranch-style seasoning mix

→ Binding & seasoning

05 - 1 large egg
06 - 2 tablespoons whole milk
07 - Salt, to taste
08 - Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

→ For coating

09 - 2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter

→ Garnish (optional)

10 - Chopped fresh parsley or sliced green onions

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 200°C. Lightly grease a baking sheet or baking dish.
02 - In a medium bowl, mix breadcrumbs, shredded cheddar-style cheese, and ranch-style seasoning until thoroughly blended.
03 - In a separate bowl, whisk together the egg and milk until homogenous.
04 - Pat pork chops dry with paper towel. Season on both sides with salt and freshly ground black pepper. Dip each chop first into the egg wash, then press into the breadcrumb-cheese mixture to coat generously.
05 - Place coated pork chops on the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle or brush with olive oil or melted butter for enhanced crispness.
06 - Bake in the centre of the oven for 20–25 minutes, or until pork is cooked through and the crust is golden and crisp. The internal temperature should reach 63°C.
07 - Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving. Sprinkle with parsley or green onions if desired. Serve immediately.

# Notes:

01 - For the crispiest coating, use panko-style breadcrumbs. Bone-in chops may require an additional 2–3 minutes of cooking.
