Smoky bacon wraps juicy, cheese-filled beef, finished with a touch of BBQ for bold flavor.

# Ingredients:

→ Meat Mixture

01 - 450 g ground beef
02 - 65 g breadcrumbs
03 - 1 large egg
04 - 5 g fine sea salt
05 - 2.5 g freshly ground black pepper
06 - 2.5 g garlic powder
07 - 2.5 g onion powder

→ Filling and Exterior

08 - 60 g shredded cheddar cheese
09 - 8 slices streaky bacon
10 - 60 ml barbecue sauce

# Instructions:

01 - Set oven to 190°C and prepare a baking tray lined with parchment.
02 - In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until thoroughly incorporated.
03 - Portion out tablespoon-sized amounts of meat mixture, flatten slightly, and place a small amount of shredded cheddar cheese in the center. Enclose cheese completely with the beef mixture to form meatballs.
04 - Wrap each meatball with a slice of bacon, ensuring the seam is tucked beneath for secure closure.
05 - Arrange bacon-wrapped portions on the prepared baking tray. Brush each evenly with barbecue sauce. Bake in preheated oven for 25–30 minutes, or until bacon is golden and crisp.
06 - Allow to cool briefly and serve hot.

# Notes:

01 - Chill meat mixture before shaping for easier handling and optimal texture.
