Creamy Cajun Pasta (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 2 tsp smoked paprika.
02 - 1 tsp oregano.
03 - 1 tsp thyme.
04 - 1/2 tsp garlic powder.
05 - 1/2 tsp onion powder.
06 - 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper.
07 - 1/4 tsp black pepper.
08 - 1/4 tsp salt.
09 - 1 Tbsp olive oil.
10 - 1 Tbsp butter.
11 - 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast.
12 - 1 yellow onion, diced.
13 - 1/2 lb penne pasta.
14 - 15 oz fire roasted diced tomatoes.
15 - 2 cups chicken broth.
16 - 2 oz cream cheese.
17 - 3 green onions, sliced.

# Instructions:

01 - Mix smoked paprika, oregano, thyme, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne, black pepper, and salt in a small bowl.
02 - Cut chicken into small cubes. Coat chicken pieces with the Cajun seasoning mixture.
03 - Heat oil and butter in large skillet. Cook seasoned chicken until lightly browned on all sides.
04 - Add diced onion to skillet. Cook until onions start to soften, about 2 minutes.
05 - Add pasta, tomatoes with juices, and chicken broth. Stir to combine.
06 - Bring to boil, then reduce heat and simmer covered for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender.
07 - Stir in cream cheese until melted. Top with sliced green onions and serve.
