# Ingredients:

For the spaghetti filling

01 - 8 oz (225 g) spaghetti
02 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
03 - 1 lb (450 g) lean ground beef
04 - 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt, plus more for pasta water
05 - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
06 - 2 cups (480 ml) thick marinara sauce
07 - 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning

For the bread bowls

08 - 4 round crusty rolls or mini sourdough boules, 5-6 inches wide
09 - 4 tablespoons (56 g) unsalted butter, melted
10 - 3 cloves garlic, minced
11 - 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley, plus more for garnish
12 - 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
13 - 1 cup (115 g) shredded mozzarella cheese
14 - 1/4 cup (25 g) grated parmesan cheese

# Instructions:

01 - Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the spaghetti until al dente according to the package directions, then drain well.
02 - Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef, salt, and pepper, and cook for 6-8 minutes, breaking it into crumbles, until browned and cooked through.
03 - Stir in the marinara sauce and Italian seasoning. Reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer for 8-10 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
04 - Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Slice the top off each roll and hollow out the center, leaving about 1/2 inch of bread on the sides and bottom. Set the bowls on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
05 - Mix melted butter with garlic, parsley, and kosher salt. Brush the mixture over the inside and outside of each bread bowl.
06 - Toss the drained spaghetti with the meat sauce. Divide it among the bread bowls, then top each with mozzarella and parmesan.
07 - Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the bread is crisp and the cheese is melted. Rest for 3 minutes, sprinkle with parsley, and serve hot.

# Good to know:

01 - Use thick marinara so the bread bowls stay crisp longer.
02 - Best served immediately after baking.
03 - Cook ground beef to 160°F for food safety.
