A cozy Bisquick Impossible Pizza Pie with a self-forming crust, pizza sauce, pepperoni, vegetables, and melted mozzarella.

# Ingredients:

For the Bisquick base

01 - Cooking spray or butter, for greasing the pie plate
02 - 1/3 cup (35 g) grated Parmesan cheese
03 - 1/3 cup (50 g) finely chopped yellow onion, divided
04 - 1/2 cup (60 g) Bisquick baking mix
05 - 1 cup (240 ml) whole milk
06 - 2 large eggs
07 - 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
08 - 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
09 - 1/4 teaspoon fine salt
10 - 1/8 teaspoon black pepper

For the pizza topping

11 - 3/4 cup (180 ml) pizza sauce
12 - 1 1/2 cups (170 g) shredded mozzarella cheese
13 - 3 oz (85 g) sliced pepperoni
14 - 1/4 cup (35 g) chopped green bell pepper
15 - Optional: 2 tablespoons sliced black olives or sauteed mushrooms

# Instructions:

01 - Heat the oven to 400°F. Grease a 9-inch pie plate well with cooking spray or butter.
02 - Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese and half of the chopped onion evenly across the bottom of the pie plate.
03 - In a bowl, whisk the Bisquick, milk, eggs, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until mostly smooth. Pour the batter into the pie plate.
04 - Bake for 18-22 minutes, until the top is puffed and the edges are lightly golden. The center should look set before you add toppings.
05 - Spread the pizza sauce gently over the baked base. Sprinkle with mozzarella, then add pepperoni, bell pepper, remaining onion, and any optional toppings.
06 - Bake for 12-15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and lightly browned in spots. Rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.

# Good to know:

01 - Use a 9-inch pie plate for the best thickness and cleanest slices.
02 - Let the baked pie rest before cutting so the base can firm up.
03 - Add cooked sausage or ground beef only after draining it well.
