Homemade Salsa (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 can (28 ounces) whole tomatoes with juice.
02 - 2 cans (10 ounces) Rotel (diced tomatoes and green chilies).
03 - 1/4 cup chopped onion.
04 - 1 clove garlic, minced.
05 - 1 whole jalapeño, quartered and sliced thin.
06 - 1/4 teaspoon sugar.
07 - 1/4 teaspoon salt.
08 - 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin.
09 - 1/2 cup cilantro (or more to taste).
10 - 1/2 whole lime, juiced.

# Instructions:

01 - In a blender or food processor, add the whole tomatoes with their juice, Rotel, chopped onion, minced garlic, sliced jalapeño, sugar, salt, and ground cumin.
02 - Pulse the mixture a few times until the ingredients are combined and reach your desired consistency. For a chunkier salsa, pulse less. For a smoother salsa, blend longer.
03 - Add 1/2 cup of cilantro and the juice from 1/2 a lime. Pulse again until well incorporated.
04 - Taste the salsa and adjust the salt, lime juice, or cilantro to your liking.
05 - Transfer the salsa to a bowl and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to let the flavors meld. Serve with tortilla chips or as a topping for your favorite dishes.

# Notes:

01 - This salsa is quick to make and bursting with fresh, zesty flavors. Perfect for dipping, tacos, or topping grilled meats.
02 - Feel free to customize by adding more cilantro or adjusting the heat level with additional jalapeños.
