Banana Blueberry Whip Frappuccinos (Print version)

Thick, creamy, and bursting with real fruit flavor, these Banana Blueberry Whip Frappuccinos come together in a blender in under 5 minutes.

# Ingredients:

For the frappuccino

01 - 1 large ripe banana, peeled, sliced into coins, and frozen
02 - 3/4 cup (115 g) frozen blueberries
03 - 3/4 cup (180 ml) whole milk or oat milk
04 - 1/2 cup (about 6-8) ice cubes
05 - 1 to 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup, to taste
06 - 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
07 - Pinch of fine salt

For the whip topping

08 - 1/2 cup (120 ml) heavy whipping cream, whipped to soft peaks
09 - Fresh blueberries and a banana slice, for garnish (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Peel and slice the banana into coins. Spread them in a single layer on a parchment-lined plate and freeze for at least 2 hours or overnight. You can keep a bag of frozen banana slices in the freezer all week so you are always ready.
02 - Pour the milk into the blender first, then add the ice cubes, frozen blueberries, and frozen banana coins. Add the honey, vanilla, and salt last. Starting with liquid at the bottom keeps the blades from stalling when you turn it on.
03 - Blend on the highest setting for 45 to 60 seconds until completely smooth, thick, and uniformly purple. If the blender stalls, stop it, add one tablespoon of milk, and pulse a few times before going back to high speed.
04 - Spoon out a small taste. If the blueberries made it tart, add a bit more honey. If it is too thick to flow easily, add milk a splash at a time. Blend for 10 more seconds after any adjustment.
05 - Divide the frappuccino between two tall glasses. Spoon or pipe whipped cream on top in a generous swirl. Scatter a few fresh blueberries over the cream and rest a banana slice on the rim if you like. Serve immediately with a wide straw.

# Good to know:

01 - Best served immediately. The texture thins as it sits.
02 - Freeze bananas before they go fully soft. Keep a bag in the freezer so you are always one blend away from this drink.
