# Ingredients:

→ Quesadilla Base

01 - 4 flour tortillas

→ Apple Mixture

02 - 2 cups apple pie filling or cooked cinnamon apples
03 - 2 tablespoons brown sugar
04 - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
05 - 0.25 teaspoon ground nutmeg (optional)

→ Cooking

06 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter

→ Cream Filling (optional)

07 - 115 grams cream cheese, softened
08 - 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
09 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

→ Toppings (optional)

10 - Powdered sugar
11 - Honey
12 - Caramel sauce
13 - Whipped cream

# Instructions:

01 - Combine cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract in a bowl. Beat until a smooth, creamy mixture forms.
02 - Evenly spread a thin layer of the cream filling onto each tortilla, if desired.
03 - If using apple pie filling, chop apples into smaller pieces for easier assembly. Stir together with cinnamon, brown sugar, and nutmeg until well combined.
04 - Spoon the apple mixture over half of each tortilla. Fold tortillas in half to form a crescent shape.
05 - Melt butter in a large nonstick pan over medium heat. Place quesadillas in the pan and cook for 2 to 3 minutes per side, until golden and crisp.
06 - Allow quesadillas to cool briefly. Slice into wedges and serve warm. Dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with honey, caramel, or add whipped cream as desired.

# Notes:

01 - Warming tortillas before assembling helps prevent cracking and ensures easier folding.
