Air Fryer Pizza Bombs (Print Version)

Biscuit dough stuffed with pepperoni and mozzarella, air-fried until golden and served with pizza sauce.

# Ingredients:

→ Dough and Fillings

01 - 1 can (8 count) refrigerated biscuit dough
02 - 32 slices pepperoni, quartered
03 - 225 grams mozzarella cheese, cubed and at room temperature

→ Topping and Sauce

04 - 60 millilitres unsalted butter, melted
05 - 2.5 millilitres garlic powder
06 - 2.5 millilitres Italian seasoning
07 - 120 millilitres pizza sauce

# Instructions:

01 - Separate the biscuit dough into 16 equal, thin portions by splitting each biscuit in half.
02 - Cut pepperoni slices into quarters. Chop mozzarella into 16 cubes.
03 - Place eight pieces of quartered pepperoni and one cube of mozzarella onto the centre of each dough portion.
04 - Fold the edges of the dough around the filling, pinching well to seal completely. Roll gently into a ball.
05 - Place the filled dough balls in the air fryer basket, ensuring there is space between each for air circulation.
06 - In a small bowl, combine melted butter, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Whisk until evenly mixed.
07 - Brush the butter mixture generously over each dough ball.
08 - Air fry at 175°C for 5–6 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
09 - Warm the pizza sauce and serve alongside for dipping.

# Notes:

01 - For best results, use large, flaky biscuit dough varieties for easy splitting and filling.
02 - Allow mozzarella to reach room temperature before use to ensure proper melting during air frying.
