Crispy air fryer pizza bagels with sauce, cheese, and custom toppings, ready fast for lunch, snacks, or an easy family dinner.

# Ingredients:

For the bagels

01 - 4 plain mini bagels, split in half
02 - 2 teaspoons olive oil
03 - 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

For the sauce and cheese

04 - 1/2 cup (120 ml) thick pizza sauce or marinara
05 - 1 1/2 cups (170 g) shredded low-moisture mozzarella
06 - 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan
07 - 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
08 - 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes, optional

For custom toppings

09 - 1/3 cup (45 g) mini pepperoni
10 - 1/4 cup (35 g) sliced black olives
11 - 1/4 cup (35 g) finely diced bell pepper, patted dry
12 - 1/4 cup (25 g) thinly sliced mushrooms, patted dry
13 - 2 tablespoons pickled jalapeno slices, optional
14 - Fresh basil, for serving

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat the air fryer to 350°F for 3 minutes. Work in batches if your basket will not hold all the bagel halves in one layer.
02 - Brush the cut sides of the bagels with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder. Place cut-side up in the basket and air fry for 2 minutes.
03 - Spread about 1 tablespoon pizza sauce on each toasted bagel half, leaving a small border around the edge.
04 - Top each half with mozzarella, a little Parmesan, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes if using. Press the cheese lightly into the sauce.
05 - Add small amounts of pepperoni, olives, bell pepper, mushrooms, or jalapenos. Do not pile the toppings too high or the centers may stay soft.
06 - Air fry at 350°F for 4-5 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbling and the bagel edges are crisp. Rest for 1 minute, then finish with basil and serve hot.

# Good to know:

01 - Best served hot, right after air frying.
02 - Use cooked meats only because the topping time is short.
03 - Air fryer models vary, so check the first batch at 4 minutes.
