Crispy Air Fryer Pasta Chips (Print version)

Crispy air fryer pasta chips made with rigatoni or penne, tossed in parmesan and Italian spices, then cooked until golden and crunchy in under 15 minutes.

# Ingredients:

For the chips

01 - 8 oz (225 g) rigatoni, penne, or rotini
02 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
03 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
04 - 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
05 - 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
06 - 1/3 cup (30 g) finely grated parmesan
07 - Salt and black pepper to taste

For serving (optional)

08 - Warm marinara sauce
09 - Ranch or garlic aioli

# Instructions:

01 - Cook pasta in well-salted water until just al dente according to the package directions. Drain well and do not rinse.
02 - Transfer warm pasta to a bowl. Add olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, parmesan, salt, and pepper. Toss until every piece is evenly coated.
03 - Preheat the air fryer to 390°F (200°C). Spread the pasta in a single layer in the basket, working in batches if needed.
04 - Air fry for 6 minutes. Shake the basket, then cook for 2 to 4 minutes more until the pasta is deeply golden and crisp.
05 - Let the chips rest for 2 minutes out of the fryer. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
