Combine panko bread crumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, and sea salt on a rimmed tray. In a shallow bowl, lightly beat eggs. Place flour in another small bowl.

Set air fryer to 188°C.

Coat each onion ring in flour, tapping off excess. Dip in beaten eggs, then coat with seasoned panko mixture. Arrange breaded rings on a large plate.

Drizzle onion rings lightly with olive oil. Transfer to air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring space around each ring. Cook in batches as necessary. Air fry for 8 to 11 minutes until golden and crisp.

If needed, return all batches to air fryer for 1–2 minutes to rewarm. Serve warm with optional tartar sauce.
