Delicious Air Fryer Hot Chicken Ham & Cheese Wraps (Print version)

Spicy chicken, savory ham, and melted cheese rolled in tortillas, coated lightly, and air fried until crisp.

# Ingredients:

For the hot chicken filling

01 - 2 cups (300 g) cooked shredded chicken
02 - 2 tablespoons hot sauce, plus more for serving
03 - 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted
04 - 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
05 - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
06 - 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper, or more to taste
07 - 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
08 - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

For the wraps

09 - 4 large flour tortillas, 10-inch size
10 - 8 thin slices deli ham, about 6 oz (170 g)
11 - 1 1/2 cups (170 g) shredded Monterey Jack, cheddar, or a mix
12 - 1 large egg beaten with 1 teaspoon water
13 - 3/4 cup (45 g) panko breadcrumbs
14 - Olive oil spray
15 - Ranch, pickles, or extra hot sauce for serving

# Instructions:

01 - Heat the air fryer to 375°F for 3 minutes. Lightly coat the basket with oil spray if your model tends to stick.
02 - In a bowl, mix the cooked chicken with hot sauce, melted butter, paprika, garlic powder, cayenne, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
03 - Wrap the tortillas in a damp paper towel and microwave for 15-20 seconds. Warm tortillas roll tighter and crack less.
04 - Place 2 slices of ham on each tortilla. Add cheese and the hot chicken mixture down the center, keeping a 1-inch border around the edges.
05 - Fold in the sides and roll each tortilla tightly. Brush the outside with beaten egg, press into panko, and mist all sides with olive oil spray.
06 - Arrange seam side down in a single layer. Air fry for 7-9 minutes, turning once, until the wraps are golden, crisp, and hot in the center.
07 - Let the wraps rest for 2 minutes, then slice diagonally. Serve hot with ranch, pickles, or extra hot sauce.

# Good to know:

01 - Use cooked chicken for the safest and most reliable timing.
02 - Do not overcrowd the basket. Cook in batches if needed.
03 - Best served right after air frying while the coating is crisp.
