3-Ingredient Cottage Cheese Garlic Breadsticks (Print version)

Chewy, garlicky cottage cheese breadsticks made with three simple ingredients and no yeast.

# Ingredients:

For the breadsticks

01 - 1 cup (225 g) cottage cheese, blended smooth
02 - 1 cup (125 g) self-rising flour, plus 1-2 tablespoons more for dusting if needed
03 - 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Blend the cottage cheese until mostly smooth. A few tiny specks are fine, but it should not be chunky.
03 - In a bowl, stir the blended cottage cheese, self-rising flour, and garlic powder until a soft, tacky dough forms.
04 - Lightly flour your hands and work surface. Pat the dough into a rectangle, cut into 8 strips, and gently roll or stretch each strip into a breadstick.
05 - Place the breadsticks on the prepared baking sheet with space between them. Bake for 14-17 minutes, until puffed and golden around the edges.
06 - Cool on the pan for 5 minutes before serving warm. The centers firm up as they rest.

# Good to know:

01 - Best served warm the day they are baked.
02 - Dough texture should be tacky but shapeable.
03 - Use thick cottage cheese or drain excess liquid before blending.
