Sweet And Sour Meatballs (Print Version)
Ingredients:

1 pound ground beef.

1 cup dry bread crumbs.

1 onion, chopped.

1 egg.

Salt and pepper to taste.

1 cup brown sugar.

1 cup water.

½ cup ketchup.

½ cup cider vinegar.

2 tablespoons soy sauce.

2 tablespoons cornstarch.
Instructions:

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, bread crumbs, chopped onion, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.

Shape the mixture into 1½-inch meatballs.

In a large nonstick skillet over medium heat, cook the meatballs until they are evenly browned and cooked through, about 8-10 minutes.

In a medium bowl, mix together the brown sugar, water, ketchup, cider vinegar, soy sauce, and cornstarch until smooth.

Once the meatballs are cooked, pour the sweet and sour sauce over them in the skillet.

Reduce the heat to low and simmer the meatballs and sauce for 3-5 minutes, until the sauce thickens and coats the meatballs.
