Sausage Alfredo Ravioli Lasagna (Print Version)

Ingredients:

01 - 6 tablespoons butter.
02 - 8 garlic cloves, minced.
03 - 2 (10 oz) bags cheese-filled ravioli.
04 - 1 lb spicy Italian sausage (ground or casings removed).
05 - 3 cups heavy cream.
06 - 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese.
07 - 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese.
08 - 1/2-2 teaspoons red pepper flakes.
09 - 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning.
10 - Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste.
11 - Nonstick spray.

Instructions:

01 - Set the oven to 375°F and coat a 10x7 casserole dish with nonstick spray.
02 - In a large skillet, cook the sausage until it crumbles and cooks through. Set aside once done.
03 - Using the same skillet, melt butter and briefly sauté minced garlic. Gradually integrate heavy cream while whisking. Introduce red pepper flakes and black pepper, allowing the mix to simmer until it thickens (roughly 3 to 5 minutes). Blend in Parmesan, ensuring a smooth sauce. Adjust flavors as needed.
04 - Boil ravioli per package guidance, then drain the excess water.
05 - In the prepared dish, spread a third of the Alfredo sauce. Layer with half of the ravioli, half of the sausage, half of the Alfredo sauce, and half of the mozzarella cheese. Repeat this layering process.
06 - Dust the top with Italian seasoning. Cover with a foil sprayed with nonstick spray and bake for 30 minutes. Remove the foil and continue baking for an extra 10 to 15 minutes until the top is bubbly and attains a golden brown hue.
