Salted Almond Brittle (Print Version)

Ingredients:

01 - 2 cups roasted almonds.
02 - 2 cups sugar.
03 - 1 tsp vanilla extract.
04 - 1 cup honey.
05 - Pinch of salt.

Instructions:

01 - Line a flat baking tray with parchment paper to make it easier to remove the brittle once it has set.
02 - In a large pan, gently warm the almonds over medium heat until they are slightly golden. Set them aside for later use.
03 - Using the same pan, pour in the sugar and stir continuously over medium heat. After about 20 minutes, the sugar will melt and turn into a smooth liquid, taking on a honey-like appearance.
04 - Once the sugar is fully melted, add the 1 cup of honey, continuing to stir as the mixture bubbles. Then, stir in the vanilla extract to enhance the flavor.
05 - Add the roasted almonds into the mixture, ensuring they are evenly coated. Turn off the heat once everything is well combined.
06 - Pour the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, spreading it out evenly. Sprinkle a pinch of salt over the top. Allow the brittle to cool and harden completely.
07 - Once the brittle is fully set, break it into bite-sized pieces using your hands or use a knife and pestle to create clean breaks.
