Beef And Potato Casserole (Print Version)

Ingredients:

01 - 1 lb Lean Ground Beef.
02 - 1 Small Yellow Onion, diced.
03 - 4 Medium Russet Potatoes, peeled and sliced.
04 - 8 oz Cheddar Cheese, grated.
05 - 1 (10 oz) Can Cream of Chicken Soup.
06 - 1 (10 oz) Can Cream of Potato Soup.
07 - 1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce.
08 - ¼ Cup Milk.
09 - 1 teaspoon Creole Seasoning.
10 - ⅓ Cup Crispy French Fried Onions.
11 - Salt and Pepper to taste.

Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 350°F.
02 - In a 10-inch cast iron skillet or a small casserole dish, spread the ground beef evenly. Season with salt and pepper.
03 - Sprinkle the diced onions over the beef.
04 - Arrange the sliced potatoes evenly on top of the onions.
05 - Sprinkle the grated cheddar cheese over the potatoes.
06 - In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the chicken soup, potato soup, Worcestershire sauce, milk, and Creole seasoning until well combined.
07 - Pour the soup mixture over the cheese layer, distributing it evenly.
08 - Cover the skillet with aluminum foil and bake for 1½ hours.
09 - Remove from the oven, take off the foil, and sprinkle the crispy fried onions on top.
10 - Place the skillet under a broiler for a few minutes to brown the onions.
11 - Serve hot.
