Red Velvet Cookies (Print Version)

Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup unsalted butter, softened.
02 - 1 cup granulated sugar.
03 - 1/2 cup light brown sugar, packed.
04 - 2 large eggs.
05 - 1 tsp vanilla extract.
06 - 1 tsp red food coloring (more if needed for desired color).
07 - 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour.
08 - 1/4 cup cocoa powder.
09 - 1 tsp baking soda.
10 - 1/2 tsp salt.
11 - 1 1/2 cups white chocolate chips.
12 - 1 1/2 cups coarsely chopped Oreo cookies (about 10-12 cookies).

Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats.
02 - In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and light brown sugar until light and fluffy.
03 - Beat in the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract and red food coloring. Mix until well combined.
04 - In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing just until combined.
05 - Fold in the white chocolate chips and coarsely chopped Oreo cookies, ensuring they are evenly distributed throughout the dough.
06 - Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop rounded balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
07 - Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set and the centers are still slightly soft.
08 - Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to wire racks to cool completely.
