Pioneer Woman Sausage Gravy (Print Version)

Ingredients:

01 - 1 lb. mild ground breakfast sausage.
02 - ½ tsp. garlic powder.
03 - ⅓ cup all-purpose flour.
04 - 3 cups whole milk.
05 - Salt and pepper to taste.
06 - 8 biscuits.

Instructions:

01 - Brown the sausage completely in a skillet over medium-high heat on the stove.
02 - Add the flour to the skillet with the sausage and stir to combine well. Lower the heat to medium.
03 - Mix in salt and pepper to taste, along with the garlic powder. Stir to combine.
04 - Whisk in the whole milk, and continue to cook, stirring often, until the gravy has thickened.
05 - Serve the sausage gravy over freshly baked biscuits.
