The Perfect Basic Burger (Print Version)
Ingredients:

1 lb ground beef (85% lean).

Salt and pepper, to taste.

4 hamburger buns.

Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato slices, onion slices, pickles, cheese slices, condiments (ketchup, mustard, mayo).
Instructions:

Shape the ground beef into four equal-sized patties.

Season both sides of each patty generously with salt and pepper.

Heat a grill or skillet to medium-high heat.

Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C) for medium doneness.
