Ingredients:

01 - For the Peanut Butter Dough:.
02 - 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter.
03 - 1/4 cup softened butter.
04 - 1/2 cup brown sugar.
05 - 1 egg.
06 - 1 tsp vanilla extract.
07 - 1 cup all-purpose flour.
08 - 1/2 tsp baking soda.
09 - 1/4 tsp salt.
10 - For the Brownie Dough:.
11 - 1/2 cup melted butter.
12 - 1 cup white sugar.
13 - 1/3 cup cocoa powder.
14 - 1 egg.
15 - 1 tsp vanilla extract.
16 - 3/4 cup all-purpose flour.
17 - 1/4 tsp baking powder.
18 - 1/4 tsp salt.
19 - 1/2 cup chocolate chips.

Instructions:

01 - In a large bowl, beat together the creamy peanut butter, softened butter, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
02 - Add the egg and vanilla extract, and mix until well combined.
03 - Gradually stir in the flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix until just combined. Set aside.
04 - In another bowl, whisk together the melted butter and sugar.
05 - Add the cocoa powder, egg, and vanilla extract, and stir to combine.
06 - Gradually mix in the flour, baking powder, and salt until smooth. Fold in the chocolate chips.
07 - Chill both doughs for 30 minutes to firm them up.
08 - Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
09 - On a baking sheet, scoop portions of both doughs together, swirling them lightly with a toothpick to create a marbled effect.
10 - Bake for 9-11 minutes until the cookies are set around the edges but still soft in the center.
11 - Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
