Instructions:

In a large bowl, beat together the creamy peanut butter, softened butter, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

Add the egg and vanilla extract, and mix until well combined.

Gradually stir in the flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix until just combined. Set aside.

In another bowl, whisk together the melted butter and sugar.

Add the cocoa powder, egg, and vanilla extract, and stir to combine.

Gradually mix in the flour, baking powder, and salt until smooth. Fold in the chocolate chips.

Chill both doughs for 30 minutes to firm them up.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

On a baking sheet, scoop portions of both doughs together, swirling them lightly with a toothpick to create a marbled effect.
