Paula Deen Fudge (Print Version)

Ingredients:

01 - 2/3 cup evaporated milk.
02 - 1 cup chopped pecans.
03 - 1 tablespoon unsalted butter.
04 - 16 large marshmallows.
05 - 6 ounces milk chocolate chips.
06 - 1 2/3 cups white sugar.
07 - 1/2 teaspoon salt.
08 - 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract.

Instructions:

01 - In a medium saucepan, mix the white sugar, evaporated milk, unsalted butter, and salt.
02 - Heat the pan over medium heat and bring the mixture to a boil, stirring all the time. Let it boil for 5 minutes.
03 - Add the milk chocolate chips and keep stirring until they're all melted and mixed in.
04 - Take the pan off the heat and stir in the marshmallows, vanilla extract, and chopped pecans until everything's well combined.
05 - Pour the mixture into an 8-inch pan, spreading it out evenly.
06 - Let the fudge cool completely before cutting it into squares.

Notes:

01 - This fudge is pretty sweet and rich. It's best to store it in an airtight container in the fridge. You can swap pecans for other nuts if you prefer.
