01 -
2 cups (480g) creamy peanut butter.
02 -
3 ½ cups (420g) powdered sugar.
03 -
½ cup (113g) softened butter.
04 -
1½ teaspoons (7.5ml) vanilla extract.
05 -
2 cups (340g) chocolate chips or chunks.
06 -
1 tablespoon (14g) butter.
Instructions:
01 -
In a large bowl, combine the softened butter, creamy peanut butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Beat until smooth.
02 -
Line a 9x13-inch pan with parchment paper and press the peanut butter mixture into the base of the pan.
03 -
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and the remaining tablespoon of butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth.
04 -
Pour the melted chocolate over the pressed peanut butter layer and spread evenly.
05 -
Let the bars set at room temperature for 30 to 60 minutes, or refrigerate to speed up the process.
06 -
Once set, lift the bars out using the parchment paper and cut into slices.
07 -
For best texture and flavor, refrigerate the bars for at least an hour before serving.
Notes:
01 -
These bars are super rich, so you might wanna cut 'em into smaller pieces. They'll keep in the fridge for about a week, if they last that long!.
