Mini Meatloaves (Print Version)

Ingredients:

01 - 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese.
02 - ¾ cup milk.
03 - ½ cup quick cooking oats.
04 - 1 large egg.
05 - 1 teaspoon salt.
06 - 1 pound ground beef.
07 - ⅔ cup ketchup.
08 - ¼ cup packed brown sugar.
09 - 1 ½ teaspoons prepared mustard.

Instructions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
02 - In a large bowl, combine shredded Cheddar cheese, milk, oats, egg, and salt. Mix well.
03 - Add the ground beef to the mixture and blend until thoroughly combined.
04 - Shape the mixture into 8 mini meatloaves and place them in the prepared baking dish.
05 - In a small bowl, mix together ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard. Stir well, then spread this sauce over each mini meatloaf.
06 - Bake uncovered for 45 minutes, or until an instant-read thermometer reads 160°F (72°C) when inserted into the center of a meatloaf.

Notes:

01 - Tip: Let the mini meatloaves rest for a few minutes after baking to retain juiciness.
02 - Variation: You can substitute ground turkey for a leaner version.
