Marry Me Chicken (Print Version)

Ingredients:

01 - 6 chicken thighs.
02 - Seasonings to taste: Onion powder, Garlic powder, Cajun seasoning, Black pepper, Paprika, Italian herbs.
03 - Olive oil.
04 - 2 tablespoons butter.
05 - 2 tablespoons fresh minced garlic.
06 - 1/2 cup chicken broth.
07 - 1/3 cup heavy whipping cream.
08 - Sun-dried tomatoes.
09 - 1 tablespoon white cooking wine.
10 - 1/2 cup fresh shredded Parmesan or Italian cheese.
11 - Salt and pepper to taste.
12 - Additional Italian herbs for sauce.

Instructions:

01 - Season the chicken thighs with onion powder, garlic powder, Cajun seasoning, pepper, paprika, and Italian herbs.
02 - Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Pan-sear the chicken thighs on both sides until browned. Transfer the chicken to a separate baking dish.
03 - In the same skillet, melt the butter and sauté the minced garlic for about 3 minutes.
04 - Pour in the chicken broth, sun-dried tomatoes, and heavy whipping cream. Stir to combine and let it simmer.
05 - Add salt, pepper, and Italian herbs to the sauce. Gradually add the shredded cheese while stirring continuously until melted and smooth.
06 - Pour the sauce over the seared chicken thighs in the baking dish.
07 - Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for 30-35 minutes, or until the chicken is fully cooked and tender.
08 - Serve the Marry Me Chicken over mashed potatoes, and enjoy!.

Notes:

01 - For a milder dish, reduce or omit the Cajun seasoning.
02 - Swap heavy cream with half-and-half or milk for a lighter version; the sauce will be thinner.
03 - Pairs well with pasta, rice, or crusty bread.
