Jalapeño Popper Pigs In A Blanket (Print Version)

Ingredients:

01 - 8 jalapeño peppers, cut in half lengthwise, seeds and membranes removed.
02 - 4 ounces softened cream cheese.
03 - 1 ¼ cups shredded Cheddar cheese.
04 - 16 cocktail wieners (such as Hillshire Farms Lil Smokies®).
05 - 2 (8 ounce) packages crescent roll dough (8 count each).

Instructions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
02 - Rinse the jalapeño halves to remove any remaining seeds, then pat them dry.
03 - In a bowl, stir together the softened cream cheese and shredded cheddar cheese until well combined.
04 - Divide the cheese mixture evenly among the jalapeño halves, filling each pepper. Place one cocktail wiener on top of the cheese-filled jalapeño.
05 - Separate the crescent roll dough into 16 triangles. Roll each filled jalapeño in the crescent dough, fully encasing the jalapeño and sausage.
06 - Place the wrapped jalapeños on the prepared baking sheets.
07 - Bake in the preheated oven for 13-15 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown and cooked through.
08 - Let the Jalapeño Popper Pigs in a Blanket stand for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes:

01 - Jalapeño Popper Pigs in a Blanket combine the best of two classic appetizers: the spicy, cheesy flavors of jalapeño poppers and the savory, doughy goodness of pigs in a blanket.
02 - Perfect for parties, game day, or any gathering!.
