Jerk Chicken Wings (Print Version)

Ingredients:

01 - 2 1/2 lb party chicken wing dings, disjointed with tips removed.
02 - Salt and pepper, to taste.
03 - 8-9 tsp jerk seasoning, to taste.
04 - 2 tsp baking powder.
05 - Cooking spray.
06 - 2 tbsp salted butter.
07 - 5 garlic cloves, minced.
08 - 1/4 cup honey.
09 - 1 1/2 tsp tamari.
10 - 1/4 tsp gluten free hot sauce.
11 - 1/4 tsp ground ginger or fresh grated ginger, if desired.
12 - 1/8 tsp smoked paprika.

Instructions:

01 - In a large bowl, pat dry chicken wings with a paper towel then season with salt and pepper, jerk seasoning, and baking powder. Toss until well combined.
02 - Set your air fryer temperature to 400°F. Spray the rack with cooking oil spray and arrange chicken wings evenly on the rack, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
03 - Cook wings for 15-17 minutes, flipping halfway through.
04 - As the chicken cooks, add butter and minced garlic to a pot over medium heat. Cook until the butter melts and the garlic becomes fragrant.
05 - Stir in honey, tamari, hot sauce, ginger, and paprika. Allow to simmer for 3-4 minutes, then remove from heat.
06 - Once wings are done cooking and are crispy, add wings to the sauce and coat evenly. Alternatively, brush the sauce on the wings, then add to the air fryer again for 8 minutes.
07 - Serve hot.
