Homemade Mango Iced Tea (Print Version)
Ingredients:
01 -
Tea Bags.
02 -
4 cups of water (divided).
03 -
Honey to taste.
04 -
1 ripe mango or 1 cup frozen mango cubes.
05 -
Ice cubes.
06 -
Fresh mango slices for garnish.
Instructions:
01 -
Heat up 2 cups of water and pour it into a spacious pitcher. Place the tea bags in the pitcher and let them steep for 10 minutes to ensure a strong flavor.
02 -
Slice and dice the ripe mango. In a saucepan, simmer the mango with 2 cups of water over medium heat for about 10 minutes. As it cooks, mash the mango pieces to create a pulp.
03 -
Once the mango mixture has finished simmering, strain it into the brewed tea pitcher. This will add the mango flavor while leaving out the pulp.
04 -
Add honey to the tea mixture, stirring until it is fully dissolved. Allow the tea to cool to room temperature before placing it in the refrigerator to chill.
05 -
Serve the chilled mango iced tea over ice cubes. Garnish each glass with fresh mango slices for a refreshing touch.
Notes:
