Hawaiian Rib Rub (Print Version)
Ingredients:

1/4 cup brown sugar.

1 tablespoon smoked paprika.

1 tablespoon garlic powder.

1 tablespoon onion powder.

1 teaspoon ground ginger.

1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste).

1 teaspoon ground cumin.

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon.

1/4 teaspoon allspice (optional).
Instructions:

In a medium bowl, mix together all the ingredients until well combined.

Pat your ribs dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.

Generously coat the ribs with the rub, making sure to cover both sides. Massage the rub into the meat for better flavor penetration.

Let the ribs sit with the rub for at least 30 minutes. For deeper flavor, refrigerate them for several hours or overnight.

Cook the ribs using your preferred method—grilling, smoking, or baking. For grilling or smoking, aim for a low temperature (around 225°F) for several hours until the meat is tender and fully cooked.
