Ingredients:

1 cup warm milk.

2 teaspoons active dry yeast.

Instructions:

In a small bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until foamy.

In a large mixing bowl, combine bread flour and salt. Add softened butter, egg, and the yeast mixture. Mix until it forms a dough.

Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.

Punch down the dough and roll it out into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick. Spread diced ham and shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the dough.
