Halloween (Print Version)

Ingredients:

01 - 1 (15.25 oz) chocolate cake mix, plus ingredients to make the cake.
02 - 1 (3.9 oz) package instant chocolate pudding mix.
03 - 1 cup milk.
04 - 2 tablespoons powdered sugar.
05 - 1 (8 oz) container Cool Whip, thawed.
06 - 25 Oreo cookies, crushed.
07 - Milano or Nutter Butter cookies for tombstones.
08 - Assorted Halloween candy (gummy worms, candy pumpkins, marshmallow ghosts, candy bones).
09 - Melted chocolate for decorating.
10 - Gel food coloring or edible markers.

Instructions:

01 - Prepare chocolate cake according to package directions in a 9x13 baking dish. Cool completely.
02 - Crush Oreo cookies in a plastic bag or food processor.
03 - Mix instant pudding with milk and powdered sugar. Fold in Cool Whip until fluffy.
04 - Spread pudding mixture over cooled cake.
05 - Top with crushed Oreos to resemble dirt.
06 - Decorate with Halloween candies and cookie tombstones.
07 - Use melted chocolate and food coloring to decorate tombstones.

Notes:

01 - Can be made a day ahead.
02 - Store in refrigerator.
03 - Use disposable foil pan for easy transport.
04 - Customize with various Halloween candies.
