Classic Mac And Cheese (Print Version)

Ingredients:

01 - 3 cups dry elbow macaroni.
02 - 4 tbsp salted butter.
03 - 2 cans (12 oz each) evaporated milk.
04 - 1/3 cup milk (any type).
05 - 2 large eggs.
06 - 1/4 tsp garlic salt.
07 - 4 cups shredded cheddar cheese.
08 - 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese.
09 - 1 tsp paprika.

Instructions:

01 - Boil the macaroni in salted water until al dente, following package instructions. Drain and return to the pot.
02 - Add salted butter to the hot macaroni and stir until melted. Set aside to cool slightly.
03 - In a large bowl, whisk together the evaporated milk, milk of choice, eggs, and garlic salt until well combined.
04 - In a separate bowl, mix the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses together.
05 - Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly coat a 9x13 inch baking dish with cooking spray.
06 - Layer 1/3 of the macaroni in the baking dish, followed by 1/3 of the cheese mixture. Repeat this process until all macaroni and cheese are used.
07 - Pour the milk mixture evenly over the layered macaroni and cheese, then sprinkle paprika on top.
08 - Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, the top is golden, and the dish is bubbling.
