Dinner, Steak, Comfort Food (Print Version)

Ingredients:

01 - 1 lb steak (cut into bite-sized pieces).
02 - 3 tbsp butter.
03 - 4 cloves garlic (minced).
04 - 1 tbsp olive oil.
05 - Salt and pepper (to taste).
06 - 2 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped).
07 - For the Mash:.
08 - 4 large potatoes (peeled and cubed).
09 - 1/2 cup milk.
10 - 1/4 cup butter.
11 - Salt and pepper (to taste).

Instructions:

01 - Boil potatoes in salted water until tender. Drain, then mash with butter, milk, salt, and pepper until creamy.
02 - Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season steak bites with salt and pepper, and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until browned. Remove and set aside.
03 - In the same skillet, melt butter and add minced garlic. Cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
04 - Return steak bites to the skillet, toss in the garlic butter, and cook for another 1-2 minutes.
05 - Serve steak bites over mashed potatoes and garnish with fresh parsley.
